Codey Rocky supports block-based and Python programming as well as cutting edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things.

Content overview

The goal of this Drop-in Unit is to introduce young students to two of the most rapidly spreading technologies nowadays. It is comprised of 4 lessons. In the first two lessons, students will learn what the Internet of Things (IoT) is, and how to apply the IoT extension of Codey Rocky. They will be able to connect Codey Rocky to the Internet, download information to Codey Rocky, and make IoT projects.
In the last two lessons, students will learn what Artificial Intelligence (AI) is and what it can do. With mBlock 5, students can learn to use some AI applications such as recognition of speech, image, text, and emotions.
