What is a Makeblock Education Innovation Space?
The Makeblock Education Innovation Space (MIS) is a school hub facilitating innovative learning. It’s a space where teachers and students can teach and learn, and more importantly, apply 21st century skills. Where the teacher becomes the facilitator and student led enquiry based learning-to-learn can thrive.
Here you can take a virtual tour through an Innovation Space! Any Innovation Space is adapted to the vision, possibilities, and requirements of the school that houses it.
Presentation Area
Here students, mentors, teachers, and experts can share knowledge, showcase their ideas, and have constructive dialogs in order to improve them. Among other elements, the space has audiovisual equipment as well as room to accommodate an audience.
Flex Area
Most of the hands-on work takes place here. The space can be rearranged depending on the tasks at hand, which can include class assignments or even preparing for competitions.
Digital Fabrication Area
Here is where everyone can make custom designs become reality. Whether it is a specialized component for a robot or a piece of artwork, these can be done on demand with the help of the 3D printers, Laser cutters, and other machines available in this area.
