Problem

I have already started mLink, but when I enter mBlock-Python Editor, the terminal dislays only the symbol $.

Solution

Step 1: Check whether the Windows 7 system you use is Service Pack 1

Step 2: Install the required patch or update

If it isn’t Service Pack 1

Download and install the official Windows patch windows6.1-KB976932: Click to download

 

Double-click the file you have donwloaded to install it.

If it is Service Pack 1

You need to dowload the KB3118401 update for Windows 7.

For 32-bit systems: Click to download

For 64-bit systems: Click to download

 

Double-click the file you have donwloaded to install it.

Step 3: Restart mLink

After installing the patch or update, restart mLink and refresh the page of mBlock-Python Editor.

The following information is displayed on the terminal, indicating that mBlock-Python Editor runs properly.
